Welcome to the new section of the blog called Whimsicals! I chose the name 'Whimsicals' for the new section of the blog because books are a sense of escape from your world to a magical world.I am a BIG reader and at times in my life I would rather be curled up with a book than face reality. My goal is to start reading more often and I am lucky to have you guys keep me accountable! At the start of each month I will post about the book that I am going to start reading {if you would like to read the books along with me I would love to chat with you about them during the month! Just tweet at me!}  By the end of the month I will have a post up about the book and my thoughts on it.

This months Whimsical takes a few steps back into my past. When I was a girl my mother bought me "Dealing with Dragons" by Patricia C. Wrede. Recently as i was cleaning out my bookshelf I found the book with a few others and noticed that I had never read it. My goal is to read through the books I never read as a girl and I started with Dragons!

I must say that it took me a while to read this book, not because it was a difficult read, but because I had a lot going on in life and became distracted. Although I got distracted at times this book was very good! The book is about a princess Cimorene who is courageous and strong. The book starts with the princess Cimorene running away and becoming a princess to a dragon, which basically means, maid. Cimorene is a strong headed princess that does not want to get married to a prince. She enjoy's her work for her dragon and is very happy. Things get interesting when wizards start popping up around the dragons caves. Cimorene finds some unusual friends along the way as she figures out what the wizards are up to and how to stop them. This books is an exciting adventure book that I would recomend to anyone who is needing an escape from their life.

If you are interested in buying this book you can find it at your local barnes and noble and on Amazon!

                                  Enjoy your reading!
