Loving Mondays

Hey guys!

One thing I have learned in life lately is that God will give you a sign in life about a door that he is opening for you. Unless it is a door opening from God, things just won't work out.  I have had all these ideas and desires in life but they don't seem to work out lately. Could it be that I am too busy? Possibly. I have found that between school, work, and family I don't have much time for anything else.  Let's take a look at the scripture;

"God blesses those people who depend only on him. They belong to the kingdom of heaven!" Matthew 4:3

When I am feeling overwhelmed I find that I can do two things. At times I find myself making an action plan (detailed plan of how I can get myself out of this situation) which is how I take over stressful situations and try and fix them. This way I have found leads me to a fork in the road where I have to stop and think of all the possibilities for following each road. The other way I could handle this is by taking a moment to myself when I am overwhelmed, and brining my worries unto the Lord.

"The Lord gives me strength. He makes my feet as sure as those of a deer, and he helps me stand on the mountains." Habakkuk 3:19

By getting my strength from God, I can not only have the right path shown to me but I can have peace as I walk on that path. He reveals everything I am suppose to be doing and it keeps me on the path of life that he had laid out for me before I was born. He has a path for each of us, we just need to ask him to show us the next step.

Waiting for the next step can be hard. Very hard. Until the Lord shows you the next step on your path of life, make sure that you are being obedient to Him. Do what you know to do and He will show you when the time is right. Have faith and trust in Him.

"Don't worry about tomorrow. It will take care of itself. You have enough to worry about today." Matthew 6:34

I hope you all have an amazing week. Please don't get too stressed out over Thanksgiving. It is a time to give thanks and not one to yell and scream. Take all your worries to God and remember, everything will always work out in the way it should.

 I will be back next Monday with another 'Loving Mondays'. Have a wonderful holiday!
