Loving Mondays

Welcome back friends!

I am so excited to be able to start the new year off with a bang! I don't know about you but I can't believe that 2017 is already here. 2016 brought me such joy! All the new changes and 'ah-ha' moments I had made this last year feel like one big happy moment. I hope you are looking forward to a fresh new year!

As the new year is starting, now is the best time to evaluate what areas in 2016 you would like to change. It is extremely easy to say "Oh, I'll take care of that next year" or "I have too much to do this month, I'll focus on it next." These are procrastinating traps! I hope you see the big flashing red lights too!

To make a true change you have to change your mindset overt he activity in question. Is your road block exercise? Try making it fun and rewarding rather than just another task that you have to do. It is waking up earlier? Do one task right when you wake up that you are looking forward to. I enjoy a really good cup of coffee in the morning, so much so that at night I actually look forward to waking up and getting that cup. If you can bring true joy into activities you don't necessarily like then you are more likely to follow through. Before you know it those "have to's" with be "want to's."

Before you can truly work on changing your mindset and behaviors you need to figure out what is it that you want. My tip? Pinterest! This year I am making my new years resolutions a little differently. Want to join me? First, make a board on pinterest {this is my page} and pin all the things you want to make your reality in 2017. Take time to really evaluate what changes you want to make. This is your life. Each goal is going to take time but the harder you work at it the more likely it is you can make it a reality. Check back on the blog Thursday to see my vision board from pinterest and find out the next step in making 2017 your best year yet!
