Must Reads in 2017

Do you ever buy a book that sounds absolutely amazing?! And yet, you still have not read it? If so, you are not alone. Not to long ago I was cleaning out my book shelf. While I was sorting through what books to pack and what books to donate I found piles of books that I have always wanted to read but never got to. Today I wanted to share seven of the books that I have been wanting to ready but haven't. Hopefully this sparks you to take a look at your book shelf and decide what books you want to read and ones to pass on.

All image sources that are not originally my own photos are from the links provided below. Please be advised that some of the links provided are affiliate links and I do receive a small commission if you make a purchase using those links.  This does not cost you any extra when you make a purchase. All opinions are my own.  I very much appreciate your support of this blog in doing so!

| The Nest | the life changing magic of tidying up | The Selection Series | The Glittering Court | The Friday Night Knitting Club | Tigers Curse | InkDeath | Stop Dressing Your Six Year Old Like a Skank |

The Friday Night Knitting Club: I watched Pretty Neat Livings vlogs on youtube which is where I first heard about this book. It is about a group of women who get together and.. you guessed it, knit. During this once a week meeting they chit chat about their lives. Without going into too much detail - they are open about their lives which brings them closer together.

The Glittering Court: I picked this book up randomly at a local book store. Basically a countess trades places with a servant to escape an arranged marriage and ends up in a bigger situation than she would have been in. What can I say? I am a sucker for a thrilling book.

Stop Dressing Your Six-Year-Old Like a Skank And Other Words of Delicate Southern Wisdom: I mean - just by the title how could you not be interested? My momma was raised by a southern woman and whether or not she likes it - raised us with Southernisms.

The Nest: When this book first came out, I'll be honest - I had not idea what it was about. One day when I was in the target vortex I picked it up because everyone was talking about it. The book is about family, the imperfect family.

InkDeath: I honestly didn't think this book existed for years. And when I say years, I mean it! Like since I was in seventh grade years! This book is apart of the InkHeart trilogy, which is from Germany. If you want to fall in love with reading and what to read about books literally coming to life when reading them.. this book is for you.

the life-changing magic of tidying up: The book is basically #truth. It's organizing your life because we all need some type of organization to live.

The Selection Series: Basically The Bachelor / Bachelorette {at the beginning} in a fairytale world that used to be America. I am currently reading the very last book in this series and am very excited for the movie to come out.

I hope that this either has inspired you to take a look at all the books on your book shelf or you have added a couple books to your shopping carts. I would love to hear what books you have on your 'Must Reads' list!
